The 56th annual Detroit RV & Camping Show is back, scheduled for Feb. 2-6 in the Detroit Suburban Collective Showplace. The show is set to feature over 300 RV and camping units.
John Lindley, Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) president and CEO, said the group is excited to bring the show back and help RVers plan their summer getaway.
“The show brings together the latest in RVs and experts who can work with attendees to determine the best unit for their lifestyle, on-site financing, campground information, educational seminars and more throughout the weekend,” Lindley said.
The event will showcase the latest trends, technology and travel. RVs on display range from folding campers to motorhomes, travel trailers, toy haulers, fifth wheels and a park model. RV experts will be available to answer questions and talk about what is new. Special discounts, show pricing, and manufacturer rebates will be available, as well as on-site RV financing.
Show attendees can visit exhibitors to pick up parts or accessories, or talk travel and outdoor experiences. The 2022 Michigan RV and Campgrounds Directory will also be available at the show.
Many educational seminars are scheduled throughout the show, such as “Learn how to Choose the Proper Fifth Wheel Hitch for Your Truck,” “Towable RV Suspension Upgrades,” and tips and advice on how to make the most of a campground stay with “Campground 101.” Catch Tom Daldin and Jim Edelman from Under the Radar Michigan at 1 and p.m. EST Feb. 6 as they recount many trips crisscrossing Michigan in an RV.
The show is scheduled to run Monday through Friday from 2-9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Adult admission (ages 13 and over) is $12; senior admission (ages 55 and over) is $11; and children 12 and under get in free. Parking is not included in show admission. For more information, visit MARVAC.org.
