MDC Campers and Offroad Caravans, Inc. released four new models of its Off-Grid Extreme series to the U.S. With the new launch, all six MDC Off-Grid Extreme RVs will be available to U.S. dealers.

The Australian adventure trailer manufacturer previously released two models of its Off-Grid Extreme series, XT12HR and XT19HRT. New MDC releases are the XT15-4E, XT16HR Island, XT16HR East West and XT17HRT Family.

MDC founder and President Vaughan Hindley said, “With a diverse lineup ranging from compact trailers for two to spacious family-friendly models, the Off-Grid Extreme range ensures there is a travel trailer to match every adventurer’s needs.”

The XT15-4E model sleeps up to four people and features a wet bath. The trailer has an electric lift pop-top roof with a high-capacity electrical system. The roof includes 745 watts of rooftop solar capacity and 400-amp-hours of lithium battery power.

The model will be fitted for year-round travel with a Truma Aventa air conditioner and VarioHeat furnace. Dual-pane windows and heated water tanks enhance the XT15-4E’s warmth. The models feature timber-style finishes and black matte faucets.

The XT16HR Island and XT16HR East West models are similar in structure, sleeping three people. The XT16HR East West layout features a space-saving bed orientation, while the XT16HR Island has a center-positioned bed. Both models include a dry bath, an internal refrigerator and microwave and an exterior kitchen.

An off-grid power system features 800-amp-hours of Renogy lithium battery capacity with 700 watts of rooftop solar capacity. The Truma heating and cooling system and enhanced cold weather capabilities suit the trailers for cold weather.

Lastly, the XT17HRT Family model sleeps five people and includes bunk beds. The model has 800-amp-hours of Renogy lithium battery and 875 watts of rooftop solar. A wet bath is included. Interior and exterior kitchens feature Thetford cooktops.

The Off-Grid Extreme units were unveiled at the Utah RV Show, which ended Sunday.
