When Goldilocks ventured into the three bears’ cabin, she tried three of everything—three meals, three chairs and three beds. In each scenario, she found the middle option to be just right.
nuCamp is attempting to hit that “just right” spot with its new teardrop trailer.
The latest nuCamp creation will combine features of the teardrop manufacturer’s Tab 320 and Tab 400 models. The Tab 360 will be smaller than the 400 and larger than the 320.
nuCamp CEO Scott Hubble said the Tab 360 is “a carefully crafted solution for those who want more space and comfort without compromising on the ease of towing.”
The manufacturer expects the Tab 360 to be 16.5 feet long and weigh 2,600 pounds dry.
The trailer’s sleeping space includes two 31-inch by 80-inch beds. One bed converts into a dinette. The RV includes a Slimline 5-cubic-foot, 12-volt compressor refrigerator and a 24-inch TV. The teardrop trailer will have an Alde hydronic heating and hot water system and a Nautilus water management system.
The Tab 360 will include a 25-gallon freshwater tank and an 18-gallon gray water tank. The teardrop will feature a cassette toilet. The Tab 360 will include air conditioning and an extra-large diamond-plated storage tub.
nuCamp received model orders and production will begin in June.
