Meyer’s RV Superstores, an East Coast RV dealer group, acquired the former automobile dealership located at 102 Free Soil Road in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania.
The store will be Meyer’s ninth retail RV Superstore and is set to be called Meyer’s I-79 RV Sales.
The dealership is located one hour south of downtown Pittsburgh and 11 miles north of downtown Morgantown, West Virginia. Meyer’s I-79 RV Sales will stock RVs from Grand Design, Forest River, Keystone and Winnebago, among others.
Mark Meyer of Meyer’s RV said the new location will complement the group’s nearest existing store in Apollo, Pennsylvania.
“We will have a great presence all throughout western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia,” Meyer said. “We look forward to continuing to provide the great customer service that Meyer’s RV has built all our locations on.”
John Park will be the general manager of the new location.
“We are thrilled to be expanding our footprint in the Pittsburgh market to better care for our ever-growing customer base,” Park said. “The opportunity to serve those along the I-79 corridor and now reach into West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and Virginia is tremendously exciting. Meyer’s I-79 RV Sales is scheduled to open Feb. 23. The company currently has retail locations in Bath, Churchville, Farmington and Syracuse, New York; Branchville, New Jersey; and Apollo and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Meyer’s also operates a full service customer care facility located in Caledonia, New York.
