Nominations are now being accepted for the 2020 Michiana Forty under 40 class. In its 14th year, the Michiana Forty under 40 program shines the spotlight on 40 of the region’s most talented and dedicated young adults, executives, professionals and leaders who demonstrate career success and community engagement, all before the age of 40.
To date, 520 recipients have received recognition. A record number of nominations were made in 2019.
For consideration, nominees must:
• Show proven professional success.
• Demonstrate an investment in and service to others through involvement in civic, charitable and/or religious organizations.
• Be under age 40 on May 29, 2020.
• Live and work in Michiana (Elkhart, St. Joseph, Starke and Marshall counties in Indiana; and Cass and Berrien counties in Michigan).
• Have lived in the region for a minimum of two years.
This program is an annual collaborative effort between the South Bend Regional Chamber, Young Professionals Network South Bend and other partners and chambers in the Michiana region. Program presenting sponsors include Community Foundation of Elkhart County, First State Bank and Gates Automotive Group.
Nomination deadline is March 27. A selection committee will meet in early April to determine the 2020 honorees who will be recognized at a celebration luncheon on May 29. For full criteria, helpful tips and nomination form, click here.
