Blue Compass RV’s Motor Home Specialist dealership has been recognized as the top-selling single motorhome dealership in the United States, according to data by Statistical Surveys Inc.
Acquired by Blue Compass RV in 2018, MHS operates from its 80-acre flagship location in Alvarado, Texas, within the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The dealership offers a vast selection of new and used motorhomes.
Blue Compass President and CEO Jon Ferrando said the recognition was a remarkable achievement.
“Their dedication to customer satisfaction and commitment to excellence truly shines,” he said. “Thank you to our team and to our OEM partners for their tremendous support.”
Ferrando singled out the dealership’s leadership. Donny O’Banion, son of MHS founder Doug O’Banion, has been at the store’s helm since Blue Compass’ acquisition. Since 2013, Motor Home Specialist has held the title of the world’s No. 1 motorhome dealer in volume sales.

MHS carries motorhomes from American Coach, Dynamax, Entegra Coach, Fleetwood, Forest River, Foretravel, Georgetown, Holiday Rambler, Nexus, Sportscoach and Thor Motor Coach, among others.
