The North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA) initiated a new program to collect, analyze and report anonymous data. The association’s NATDA Industry Insights Program (NATDAii) will compile data from NATDA dealer volunteers to generate insights.

NATDA Executive Director Andria Gibbon said the association is looking forward to “the potential this program has to deliver immense value to our member base.”

Gibbon said the insights will enable members to benchmark sales, service and operations while identifying line and profit center expansion opportunities.

NATDA Director of Exhibits and Partnerships Corey Langley said, “The privacy and data protection of our dealer members will be paramount as we work together to understand the market better.”A picture of the NATDAii logo.

To protect dealer information, NATDA will be “transferred and stored securely,” adhering to SOC2 data privacy compliance standards.

NATDA will provide an opt-in period. In exchange for providing data, interested dealer members will receive free NATDAii reports. The association will invite all dealer members to participate in the coming weeks. NATDA will explain the opt-in process and security measures in the invitation.
