Rev Group appointed Cynthia (Cindy) Augustine as an independent member of the company’s board of directors.
Rev Group Board chairman Jean Marie (John) Canan said, “Cindy brings an extensive background of executive leadership and transformational change to the board. We believe her background, global experience and particular expertise in human capital management will further Rev Group’s organizational and operational imperatives.”
Augustine is the global chief talent officer at McCann Wolrdgroup, a marketing agency part of The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG).
Previously, Augustine was the global chief talent officer for FCB Global, an IPG marketing communications company. She was senior vice president of human resources and employee services at Scholastic Corp. and senior vice president of talent management at Time Warner. She was also senior vice president of human resources and president of the Broadcast Group at The New York Times Co. She began her career as a lawyer specializing in employment law, labor relations and employee benefits.
Augustine is a board of trustees member for the Innocence Project. The non-profit organization exonerates those falsely convicted of crimes.
She was on Black Enterprise’s 2017 Most Powerful Women in Business list. She was recognized three times as Savoy Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential Black Leaders in Corporate America.
