Winnebago unveiled a new 2024 Solis Pocket 36B floorplan, including a multi-functional dinette and a rear wet bath.

Although available as an option only, the Solis Pocket also can include a new power management system, developed in concert with EcoFlow. The Power Kit Pro management system is available first on the Solis Pocket and Winnebago has an exclusive agreement with the supplier to be the only RV manufacturer able to offer it.

The Power Kit Pro combines five power components—an inverter, a shore power converter, a battery energy converter, a solar energy converter and an alternator energy optimizer—into one system. The Power Kit Pro combines capacity with charging speed. Winnebago said the system generates up to 3,600 watts of power and reduces shore-power charging time by 50% when compared with standard power systems.

Power Kit Pro can add up to two additional batteries. The kit is 40% faster than EcoFlow’s standard Power Hub when recharging the lithium house battery through a dedicated second alternator. The digital control screen in the Power Kit Pro provides a more simplified and intuitive interface than the standard Power Hub, Winnebago said.

Power Kit Pro feeds a 5,000-watt-hour lithium house battery that fits under the dinette seat. Winnebago said the battery operates the air conditioner for up to five hours, eliminates any generator need and enables up to three days of boondocking/off-grid living in favorable weather conditions.

Winnebago brand President Huw Bower said: “Winnebago’s partnership with EcoFlow is another example of our company’s continuous innovation and proven ability to deliver technology that enhances owners’ experiences on the road. The new floorplan, combined with the optional power solution, make the Solis Pocket more versatile, energy-efficient and easier to operate than ever before.”

EcoFlow North American Head of Business Development Brian Essenmacher said partnering with Winnebago was a privilege.

“Our companies share a commitment to harness technology and provide superior, cutting-edge products that meet the needs of today and tomorrow,” Essenmacher said. “The Winnebago x EcoFlow Power Kit Pro is a result of that effort.”

The dinette is another new feature in the Solis Pocket. The dinette can seat two or four people, and in travel mode, can seat two additional people by extending the forward-facing dinette cushion towards the passenger side.

The dinette converts into a single sleep space, measuring 30-by-75 inches, or across the RV into a 53-by-75 inch sleeping space.

The dinette also has four lounge modes—a 6-foot, 6-inch sofa, an L-shape seating space facing either front or rear and a day bed, extending the rear-facing dinette to the sliding door.

The rear wet bath includes a portable toilet, a built-in sink with countertop, a medicine cabinet with a French-style mirror and internal water tanks to prevent water from freezing. Winnebago said having the rear bath gives consumers the option of creating a mudroom to hold skis, snow suits or other wet gear without taking the items through the rest of the van.
