Newcoast, an F&I provider in the marine and recreational industry, hired Marcel De Bary Gagnon as vice president of global sales. De Bary Gagnon will oversee financing and insurance sales.
She has held leadership roles with Accenture, Xerox, Atos, and Moreau Shepell. In 2004, she founded TaSa Consulting, providing sales consulting and outsourced chief sales officer services to companies in the financial and human capital industries.
“Marcel’s extensive experience in leading sales teams and within the insurance industry will bridge sales strategy development and business plan execution,” said Mike Hoffman, Newcoast president. “Newcoast continues to grow as the leading financing and insurance provider in the marine and recreational space. Marcel’s addition to the team will drive continued focus on innovating to improve the customer experience.”
De Bary Gagnon serves as a Sapient Insights Group advisory board member and holds a board position within the National Association for Advancement of Women in Insurance (NAAWI). She is a local East Lake Foundation Women’s Alliance member in Atlanta. She has served on the executive leadership council for Year Up, as an advisory board member for the Alma G. Davis Foundation, a judge for the girl of the year award for Women in Technology, and a sponsorship executive for Girls Who Code.
Her peers describe De Bary Gagnon as an innovative visionary, a tenacious dealmaker, and a motivating communicator, Newcoast said.
