Newmar Recognizes Top 2024 Suppliers

Last week, Newmar named American Technology Components the company’s top 2024 supplier. American Technology Components earned the Virgil Miller Award, named after the former Newmar president.

Miller initiated Newmar’s annual awards banquet to recognize suppliers with the highest performance standards who were willing to promote improvement and drive results.

American Technology Components also earned Newmar’s Engineering Innovation Award.

Newmar President Casey Tubman said, “It is an honor and pleasure each and every year when we are able to bring together our top suppliers and recognize them for delivering outstanding quality materials, which exemplify the difference in our luxury Newmar motorhomes.”

Newmar presented top 2024 suppliers awards at its annual banquet at the Samluung Platz Event Center in Nappanee, Indiana.

The awards were based on internal surveys measuring each supplier’s performance in multiple categories. Out of a possible 201 points, suppliers needed to score 195 or more to earn a banquet invitation.

Matt McQuown, Newmar vice president of supply chain, said, “Our supplier partners continue to excel in quality, delivery, technical performance and cost for 2024. Our unique recognition program is one way to celebrate the performance of 92 companies and the more than 200 individuals in attendance.”

More than 500 suppliers were eligible to receive a 2024 award. In addition to supplier attendees, multiple Newmar and Winnebago Industries employees were in attendance.

The Salesperson of the Year was Ryan Brimmer of Sika.

International Thermal Research earned Newmar’s Customer Experience Champion Award.

Scot Robbins of Industrial Finishes received the Operations Support Award. Virginia Velez of Lippert’s Girard division received the Delivery Service Award. Customer Service awards were presented to Will Schafer of Transwest Inc., Valerie Unruh of Patrick Ind.’s Betterway and Beth Bloss of American Technology Components Inc.

DH Machine received the Value Improvement Award. Ramco Engineering Inc. and Wesco Distribution Inc. received the Special Recognition award.

Top Ten Supplier awards were presented to River Park Inc., Cummins Inc., Alro Steel Corp., Clean Seal Inc., Wiper Technologies, Continental Mirrored Graphics, Wood Design RV Interiors, Mid-States Bolt & Screw Co., SLB Products and HWH Corp.
