The North American Trailer Dealer Association (NATDA) introduced a new award program for the 2024 NATDA Trailer Show at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on Aug. 28-29.

The Innovation Showcase will replace the show’s New Product Display, New Product of the Year Award and Most Innovative Trailer and Truck Bed Award.

The new program expands featured product categories and will provide attendees with a wide display of products and solutions at the show. Featured categories will include products, software, services and trailer/truck beds.

NATDA Executive Director Andria Gibbon said, “The new program will provide a comprehensive overview of ‘what is next’ in the trailer industry and will hopefully inspire attendees to add these exhibitors on their ‘must visit’ list.”

Exhibitors who enter products and services in the showcase will be eligible to win one of three award categories. The Trailer Innovation Award recognizes trailer/truck bed components, parts and accessories. The Dealership Innovation Award will honor services, software or programs that enhance dealership sales, marketing, service or operations. The Manufacturer Innovation Award will designate the most innovative trailers/truck beds in the cargo/concession, heavy-duty, livestock, recreational, truck bed/service body, utility and vehicle trailer categories.A picture of the NATDA Innovation Showcase logo.

The Trailer Innovation and Dealership Innovation Awards will be voted on by attendees. The Manufacturer Innovation Award will be selected by NATDA’s Dealership Advisory Council.

First, second and third-place winners will be recognized at the show and featured in NATDA Magazine’s November/December 2024 issue. Winners will receive free entry into the Winner’s Row display at NATDA’s 2025 Trailer Tech Expo. The new event will focus on trailer industry innovation and technology in Reno, Nevada, on Feb. 25-27. Award winners will be recognized at the Trailer Tech Expo Awards Banquet.

Exhibitors may enter one product at no charge. Additional entries may require a fee. Entries must be submitted by June 30.
