The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) hired Raji Green as its marketing manager.
Reporting directly to Tony Flammia, NRVTA’s sales and marketing director, Green will manage the marketing department and oversee the school’s associated promotional activities and initiatives.
“My biggest goal for this role is to make NRVTA a household name for technical and trade schools,” Green said. “In the future, I want to see our organization be as ubiquitous as any other trade school when people are considering this type of program.”
Green said she intends to expand NRVTA’s current demographic to attract more people from different backgrounds.
“So long as they have passion for the RV industry and community,” she said. “I want people to know they are welcome here and can be a part of the NRVTA family.”
Green has orchestrated online and non-traditional advertising programs for nine years, NRVTA said. Green specializes in marketing strategy as well as “disruptive advertising” which breaks through the noise of competing messages, the organization said.
“The team, passion and people who are either working here or attending classes attracted me to NRVTA,” she said. “The culture here promotes working together toward a common goal and helping to serve our students and community.”
Flammia said Green brings new energy to the school and a new perspective on marketing.
“NRVTA has been tremendously successful in attracting older students who are looking for a career change and see becoming a certified RV technician or inspector as a way to achieve their dreams,” Flammia said. “Raji has outlined some incredible ideas regarding ways we can reach younger students and people of color who are discovering the benefits of the RV lifestyle decades earlier than people have in the past.”
