NTP-Stag Specialty Segment Vice President of Sales Fred Petrivelli will retire after 13 years with the company, effective at year’s end.

Mike Katz, a long-time aftermarket industry professional, will join the company as vice president of sales. He will assume Petrivelli’s responsibilities and reporting relationships.

Petrivelli served in multiple sales roles throughout his tenure with the company before his promotion to vice president in 2015. Over the course of a career spanning more than 40 years, he held positions with the MSD Performance Group and Champion Spark Plug/Cooper Industries before joining NTP-Stag in 2010.

NTP-Stag President Bill Rogers said: “Fred has worked tirelessly with customers alongside our team in driving sales growth over the years and ensuring the meaningful relationships we have with our customers continue to improve and grow. We wish Fred and his family all the best in their retirement and many years of enjoyment as they begin this new chapter of their lives.”

Katz has an extensive aftermarket industry background, including jobs with Weather Guard/Werner and HD Supply/Whitecap, where he spent the past six years.

“Through his prior experience, many members of our team have had the opportunity to develop close working relationships with Mike,” Rogers said. “Well respected in the industry, he embodies our core values and understands the customer is the key to success.”

Rogers said Petrivelli and Katz will work together the rest of the year to provide a seamless transition and ensure “long-time, critical customer relationships that have been developed over the years will be in good hands going forward.”

Rogers said: “These efforts will include proper introductions and the development of a business sales strategy that will serve our core brick-and-mortar customers in the automotive, RV and marine markets.”
