Optima Debuts Power Solution at Specialty Equipment Show

Optima Batteries unveiled its Orangetop QH6 lithium battery at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas this week.

The new battery exhibits extreme temperature resilience and an 880-amp cranking power. The 45-amp-per hour solution with a quad terminal weighs 19.8 pounds and includes numerous features.

Optima integrated its CPR technology into the battery to disconnect the devices before it is drained while reserving enough power to start a vehicle.

The solution connects to the Optima Batteries app via Bluetooth, through which consumers can activate the CPR function. The app enables RVers to monitor cell/battery state of charge, overall health, cycles, temperature and battery management system (BMS) functions.

The QH6 can withstand temperatures ranging from -20 to 167 degrees Fahrenheit.

The products are scheduled to roll out publicly this spring. Optima is exhibiting at the SEMA Show in the Bronze Lot until the event’s conclusion Friday.
