Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) Executive Director Jessica (Wahl) Turner will discuss the future of the outdoor recreation industry in a new, on-demand workshop available throughout the 2020 RV Dealers Virtual Convention/Expo.
In “What’s Ahead for the Outdoor Recreation Industry,” Turner will outline expectations for the coming year following major legislative victories that will increase funding for public lands infrastructure, including campground modernization, the collective impact of outdoor recreation on GDP, the implementation of the Great American Outdoors Act and the importance of new state offices for outdoor recreation.
ORR, the nation’s leading coalition of outdoor recreation trade associations, is made up of 33 national associations serving more than 110,000 businesses. The coalition brings together all elements of the outdoor recreation business community, which contributes $778 billion in output and supports 5.2 million jobs, to educate policy makers on key issues. These issues include access to public lands and better ways to manage visitor services at the federal and state level.
A catalog of on-demand sessions, Vendor Training +Plus workshops and virtual exhibit booths will be accessible anytime from the beginning of the show through Jan. 31, 2021.
