The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) is seeking a new leader. The company invites candidates to apply for the association’s program and administrative director position.
The roundtable said the role is integral to ORR’s communications, government relations, state-level education and Together Outdoors initiatives. The selected candidate will influence programs and general operations focusing on communications, events and policy.
Responsibilities include arranging for ORR members and industry stakeholders to educate elected officials and regulators on policies. The director will coordinate events such as ORR board meetings and national forums. This position reports to the senior vice president and vice president of programs.
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience with communications, organization, social media platforms and writing. Applicants should possess exceptional writing and editing skills, project management experience and the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with ORR members, partners and policymakers.
While ORR is based in Washington D.C., the selected candidate may work remotely.
