The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR), a coalition of leading outdoor recreation trade associations representing the $862 billion outdoor recreation economy, is looking to hire a senior vice president of communications and operations.
ORR said the role is integral to advancing ORR’s mission and bolstering its position as a prominent advocate for outdoor recreation in the United States.
ORR President Jessica Turner said: “We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our dedicated team and help us amplify the voice of the outdoor recreation industry and economy. This role offers a unique chance to shape our communications, operations, and policy efforts in ways that will benefit the entire outdoor recreation community.”
The senior vice president of communications and operations will oversee branding and marketing/communications, development, operations and policy advocacy. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least five years in management roles. ORR said the candidate should possess proficiency in communications, operations and development, along with a deep understanding of federal politics and policy.
