Aqua-Hot, an Airxcel brand, released a high-altitude ready, 125 Hydronic Heating System, offered on select models of the Rössmonster Overland Baja Truck Camper.

The ultra-compact Aqua Hot 125 series was designed for camper vans, Type B motorhomes and smaller expedition vehicles. The series has gas and diesel models that also can run off shore power.

Hydronic heating provides moist, even heat with up to three heat exchangers and the ability to deliver continuous hot water at 110 degrees to 120 degrees Fahrenheit

Select Rössmonster Overland Baja editions will feature the Aqua-Hot 125 Hydronic Heating System. Rössmonster Vans Owner Ross Williamson noted the product works optimally at up to 16,000 feet above sea level.

“Our shop in Longmont, Colorado, is already at nearly 5,000 feet above sea level, but the expedition vehicles we build are often going up well beyond that in elevation,” Williamson said. “Head west from here and in one hour you could reach areas of the Rocky Mountains that are over 14,000 feet. And we want to give our clients that ability, that freedom to go anywhere they want and not worry about their rig’s performance or their personal comfort.”

The Aqua-Hot 125 features an updated LCD controller capable of diagnostic read outs. It weighs 70 pounds when full.
