U.S. Commercial Service Offers Trade Show Support Abroad

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected international travel, with Europe imposing restrictions on travel from the U.S. Because of the challenges with international travel, the U.S. Commercial Service in Düsseldorf launched the Trade Show Booth Staffing Program to help U.S. exhibitors for upcoming trade fairs held in Düsseldorf, Germany, including Caravan Salon, Valve World Expo and Wire 2020.

GDP Decreased in Second Quarter

Real gross domestic product (GDP) decreased at an annual rate of 32.9 percent in the second quarter of 2020, according to the “advance” estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). In the first quarter, real GDP decreased 5.0 percent.
