Patrick Industries, Inc. will team up with BrandStar’s Military Makeover with Montel, TV Host Montel Williams, as well as local businesses and volunteers to update the home of a decorated Army veteran and his family.
The team will update the home of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, Michael Stupar.
Stupar provided security for a recovery mission while deployed in Mosul, Iraq. While giving first aid to wounded Iraqi police officers, Stupar’s team was fired upon, and he was wounded as well. He recovered and saw more action. He has been deployed four times.
Stupar, his wife Crystal and their two daughters recently moved to Michigan City, Indiana, but complications from recent family tragedies along with health issues made settling into a new home a difficult process, BrandStar said.
Updating the Stupar’s home will begin this summer. The makeover team will replace or refinish bathrooms, flooring, furniture, kitchen appliances, kitchen cabinets, AC, siding, storage and windows.
Indiana-based Patrick Industries, having worked with Military Makeover before, is thrilled to be the Title Sponsor for the Q3 program, BrandStar said.
“Patrick is delighted to partner with Military Makeover with Montel in Q3 and provide the needed resources to help update and transform the home of the Stupar family,” CEO of Patrick Industries Andy Nemeth said. “We strive to always put our customers, team members and community first and are committed to lending a helping hand in any way we can to make the dreams of the Stupar family come true.”
Patrick provides products and building materials for recreational vehicles, marine, manufactured housing and industrial markets.
