Jay Goldbaum

Jay Goldbaum was appointed General Counsel in November 2017 and has served as Horizon Global’s chief compliance officer and corporate secretary since June 30, 2015. Goldbaum is responsible for managing all of Horizon Global’s legal and compliance matters.

Prior to joining the company, Goldbaum served as associate general counsel – commercial law for TriMas Corp starting in January 2014. Goldbaum joined TriMas as legal counsel in January 2012. From September 2007 to 2011, Goldbaum was an associate in the corporate and litigation practice groups at the law firm of Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss, P.C.

Goldbaum earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing, Michigan.
