John Stegville

For the last five years, John Stegville has driven northeastern routes for Keller Marine & RV in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. But he has only been to Pennsylvania, where Keller is based, a few times. Stegville lives in upstate New York and keeps his delivery truck in his driveway, replenishing its contents with help from another truck that regularly comes from Keller’s Pennsylvania warehouse.

Stegville grew up near Baltimore and spent a lot of time around RVs and boats with his family in the Adirondack Mountains. Before Keller, he worked in retail management for 16 years at Lowes and Home Depot. When Keller fist offered Stegville a job, he wasn’t sure how long he would stay. “It was one of those jobs I thought would be a temporary thing, which I told Keller when they hired me,” Stegville said.

But he ended up loving the job and the time it allowed him to spend with his 7-year-old son, for whom he just got Milo, a pit bull-dachshund puppy. Mike Keller, Keller Marine & RV president, lets Stegville take Milo on the road during deliveries. Stegville said, “the dealers love him.”
