Michael Neal

After graduating from Lindsey Wilson College in 1991, Mike Neal started at Reed Brothers Insurance (RBI). As the company’s chairman, Neal sold Reed Brothers Insurance to Brown & Brown Inc. in 2008.

Neal is now President of Brown & Brown Insurance’s Kentucky branch and the company’s dealer services, a part of its retail division.

“Our slogan is, ‘We are a broker for the dealer,’” said Neal. “We do everything we can to risk manage for the dealer and become a performance improvement company.” Neal said that one of the things he is most proud of regarding his time at RBI are his teammates at the company.

“Their health, and their families’ health, is most important,” Neal said. “Everything else is next, including the company.”
