


Biography
Nick Francis’ most-recent accomplishment at KZ RV is developing the KZ Escape, an ultra-lightweight camper with a vertical-opening rear door. The series’ E17 HATCH won RV Business’ 2021 Top Debut award and RV Pro’s 2021 Best New Model award. “I love being able to develop new products,” Francis said, regarding what he enjoys most about his job.
Besides the Escape brand, Francis also manages KZ’s Sportsmen Classic, Sportsmen SE/LE/DT, Sportsmen fifth wheels, Sportster fifth wheels and travel trailers, Connect, and Connect SE brands. Francis started at KZ in 2019, though he has worked in the RV industry since 2003.
Francis started his career in 2003 at Keystone RV, working both receiving and manufacturing before becoming an Assistant Purchasing Manager at Forest River. He returned to Keystone RV in 2009 as a purchasing agent, then District Sales Manager. Francis was a product manager for Forest River’s Wildcat brand for a year before starting at KZ RV. He was born and raised in North Webster, Indiana, where he currently resides.
