Tim Laubscher

Purchasing is just a small part of what Tim Laubscher does at Keller Marine & RV. “If the toilet needs plunging, I will do it,” Laubscher said. Other than that, he schedules boat trailer and automotive undercarriage production and shipping. Laubscher was born and raised in Port Trevorton, where he now works and continues to live. “I can look at my window and see my deck right in my backyard,” Laubscher said from his office desk.

Laubscher started studying computer science at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. He later changed his major to geology, with a minor in groundwater technology, so he could work at his grandfather’s plumbing and heating business. Both his career paths went out the window when Mike Keller — his childhood friend and son of the Keller Marine & RV’s founders —called him soon after graduation. Keller offered him a temporary route to replace a driver who had just quit, but 2021 marks the 35^th year Laubscher has worked in sales and delivery at Keller Marine & RV.

His life motto applies to the RV industry, as with all other areas of his life: work hard and keep learning. Laubscher said of his notable achievements, “If the team wins, I win. I think we’re a great company to work with and work for.”
