Biography
After receiving an associate degree in applied science and working as a draftsman for neighboring companies, Tod Westervelt joined the Iola, Kansas, family business. He helped at his dad’s machine shop, M & W Manufacturing, for 11 years, during which time he led organizational control and ran CNC machines.
Tod Westervelt’s father, Neil Westervelt, hired him to run his company Night Shift Auto in 2000. When Neil Westervelt retired eight years later, Tod Westervelt and his wife Stacey bought the company and renamed it NSA RV Products.
When Tom Westervelt started at NSA RV Products, then Night Shift Auto, the company had three employees. Westervelt said he is most proud of growing that number more than four times over.
“We are introducing new products every year to grow the company and the industry,” Westervelt said. “We are a successful little company in a little Kansas town.”
