A partnership between Elkhart, Indiana-based Truma and Pleasure-Way will unveil Truma staples and the company’s new cooler within the manufacturer’s Recon 4×4 Type B.
The Recon 4×4 includes the Truma Cooler, the supplier stated, providing fridge or freezer capability with removable trays and a Bluetooth smart device to monitor the product.
“Truma has been a valued partner for us for several years, ensuring our customers have the best heating and hot water experience in the Recon 4×4 was important,” Pleasure-Way CEO Dean Rumple said. “Being able to add flexibility and versatility with the Truma Cooler is a bonus we believe enhances Pleasure-Way’s focus on craftsmanship, quality and value to last for years to come.”
Rumple said the product will be offered as the first launch within Pleasure-Way’s 4×4 Overland segment. In addition to the Truma AquaGo Comfort Plus and the VarioHeat, the new cooler will be the first North American Type B equipped with the C60 Truma Cooler.
“No matter how far into the wilderness owners take their Recon 4×4, our Truma systems will be there to ensure they can maximize their outdoor lifestyle experiences,” Pleasure-Way Senior VP of Business Development Mark Howlett said.
