A-Frame Trailer Tray/Cargo Carrier
The Stromberg Carlson adjustable trailer, tongue, cargo-carrying system fits most A-frame trailers. The tray provides additional storage in the softest riding area of your trailer- over the propane tanks near the front cap of an RV. The application is determined by the tow vehicle turning radius and positioning of the tray. The tray supports up to 300 pounds and can be used for generators, coolers, compressors, welders, wood boxes, and more.
The rack height is approximately 30-5/8-inches from top of the A-frame to the top of tray. Appx. 29-1/2-inches from top of A-frame to bottom of tray. The distance is designed to accommodate up to a 30 pound standard LP tank underneathe the rack. Due to bent design on the tray's vertical tubes, the tray brackets can be mounted on A-frames at widths varying from 14 to 55 inches (Note: The front support plate may need to be modified to accommodate increased-width mounting).
Please note, when propane tanks are installed under the intended tray location, one of three things can be done to remove tanks for refill or to access valves without removing the tray.
- Replace the existing cover with a soft vinyl cover, allowing access to the LP valves or to remove LP tanks without having to remove the cross bar.
- Replace the existing LP tank cover with a flip-top hard plastic cover to access the LP valves. Requires removing the cross bar to remove cover and refill LP tanks.
- Leave the tank cover off for direct access to your LP tanks.
