RVDA will honor 21 RV manufacturers/brands with Quality Circle Awards for achieving the highest scores in the association’s 27th annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey.
The total is more than twice the 10 manufacturers honored with Quality Circle Awards in 2020. The manufacturers will receive their awards from 9-10 a.m. Nov. 11 during the RVDA Convention/Expo.
The 21 brands/manufacturers received at least 15 dealer responses and scored 4.25 or above on a 5-point scale in overall dealer satisfaction in the association’s survey, which was conducted June through September.
“The DSI results highlight top-rated manufacturers in several important areas of dealer and customer support,” RVDA Board Chairman Chris Andro said. “Thanks to all the dealers who responded to the survey and congratulations to the manufacturers earned Quality Circle Awards this year.”
Five towable manufacturers/brands repeated as Quality Circle Award winners from 2020. Those were Airstream; Cruiser RV (Shadow Cruiser, MPG, Radiance, Embrace, Stryker); East to West (Alta, Della Terra); Forest River (Flagstaff travel trailers, fifth wheels, and Shamrock expandables); and Grand Design RV (Imagine, Momentum, Reflection, Solitude, Transcend).
Other towable award winners in 2021 are Alliance RV (Paradigm, Valor) CrossRoads RV (Zinger/Volante); Gulf Stream Coach (Innsbruck, Amerilite, Conquest, Kingsport) Heartland RV (Milestone, Elk Ridge, Big Country); Highland Ridge RV; Intech RV (Flyer, Luna, Sol, Terra); Keystone RV (Alpine, Avalanche, Cougar, Montana, High Country, Raptor, Carbon); KZ RV (Durango, Durango Gold, Venom, V-Series, Sportsmen, Sportsmen Sportster, Sportsmen Classic); Lance Camper (truck campers); Venture RV (SportTrek, Sonic, Status) and Winnebago.
Four motorized manufacturers repeated from 2020: Airstream, Leisure Travel Vans/Triple E, Newmar and Tiffin.
Other 2021 motorized winners are Gulf Stream Coach, Pleasure-Way, Renegade RV and Winnebago.
Airstream and Winnebago are the lone manufacturers to claim Quality Circle Awards in towable and motorized categories.
When rating their brands/manufacturers, RVDA asks dealers to express, confidentially, their level of satisfaction on four core issues:
- Reliability/quality
- Parts
- Warranty
- Sales
RVDA received DSI responses from 520 dealership locations in the U.S. and Canada that included 2,672 brand ratings, an average of more than five per dealer.
