America’s Largest RV Show, hosted by the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA) in Hershey, Pennsylvania, appeared on track to match or surpass attendance figures from 2022.
However, a rainy Sunday dropped about three-quarters of an inch of rain on the Giant Center, keeping final-day attendance down.
In all, unaudited attendance figures showed 45,535 attendees moving through the turnstiles during the five-day event. Saturday was the busiest day, with over 13,000 attendees.
The final official attendance from 2022 was 49,112, including over 7,000 attendees on the final day. The rain kept final-day attendance this year to about 4,800.
The attendance will be the second time since 2014 the Hershey show had fewer than 50,000 attendees. The attendance record is 64,154 set in 2017, with 2021’s 61,320 the second-highest total. The show was canceled in 2020.
