RecPro exclusively partnered with Houghton Leisure Products, an Australian air conditioner supplier, to offer a new line of 48-volt RV air conditioners.
The low-profile air conditioners provide efficient heating and cooling while running on 48-volt power.
RecPro said the company intended to create a 12-volt air conditioner line. However, the company said it changed direction because of the 48-volt advantages, including significantly lower amp draw.

RecPro and Houghton said they prioritized noise reduction in the air conditioners’ design, creating quieter camping trips.
