Redarc, a trailer braking and power management supplier to the RV industry, released its first North American vehicle.

The Redarc Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road is an Overland-ready truck, the company said. Redarc has managed and outfitted a fleet of Toyota vehicles in Australia to explore the Australian Outback, leading to the Tacoma release in North America.

The company said the Redarc Tacoma was custom outfitted for North American adventure. The build has off-road and overland abilities, but specifically showcases the technology and 12-volt capabilities Redarc products made possible, the company said.

“The on-board power system in this Tacoma features all of the things Redarc are famous for, rugged, innovative and reliable off-grid gear,” said Craig Herriot, general manager for international sales at Redarc. “And this system is something our customers and outfitters can easily replicate. Redarc offers power solutions for any build and all the components being modular and compatible means you can start small and build up your vehicle as you need. The products are easy to install and easy to upgrade, and we offer a solution for any kind of rig for any kind of travel and overlanding lifestyle.”

Redarc wrapped the TRD Off-Road wheels with rugged Falken WildPeak AT3 265/75R16 tires. An Icon 1.5-inch Add-A-Leaf Kit and DayStar Rear Airbags prepare the truck for trail challenges. A Warn VR 10-S winch paired with a reinforced Factor 55 Fairlead, Shackle Mount, and ARB Essentials Recovery Kit provides a system capable of hauling up steep rock steps. A Front Runner Roof Rack with Rigid LED pods allows roof storage.

To stay off-grid for as long as possible, Redarc installed the Alu-Cab Gen 3.1 Expedition Rooftop Tent and Shadow Awning.

The new Redarc Tacoma will make its first official appearance at Overland Expo Mountain West in August. It will appear at Overland Expo West and East, ending its show tour at SEMA in Las Vegas in November.
