RecNation Rental, a peer-to-peer RV rental startup, selected WhereSafe GPS as a vendor partner to offer its RV renters real-time GPS tracking as a service for its RV renters.
As reported in January by RV News, RecNation Rental is owned by RecNation Storage, an Outdoorsy and RVshare partner.
RecNation consumers renting their RVs will have access to WhereSafe’s real-time GPS tracking.
RV rental businesses have demanded GPS tracking technology to keep track of their RVs while the vehicles are in the hands of renters, RecNation Rental said.

WhereSafeGPS gives RV owners knowledge of the exact location and status of their RVs; text, push or email alerts about restricted area access; speed and driving behavior data and the exact time a vehicle enters or departs a RecNation facility, the company said.
