Rev Group appointed Kathleen M. Steele as an independent member of the company’s board of directors.
Steele’s appointment comes in the wake of Donn Viola’s retirement at the annual stockholders meeting in February.
Rev Group Board Chair Paul Bamatter said, “As a new member, Kathleen brings extensive investment management and financial leadership expertise to the company. We believe her broad experience will help drive value creation for Rev Group.”
Steele is an advisor to Equity Group Investments (EGI), a private investment firm she joined in 2000. She served as managing director at EGI until June 2023. Before her time at EGI, Steele worked in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch.
Steele is a chairwoman of the finance committee and on the board of trustees for Sacred Hearts Schools Chicago. She is a leader on A Better Chicago’s council, a philanthropy fund to improve low-income Chicago students’ educational opportunities.
