As Rev Group prepares for 2026 orders in the next two months, the RV manufacturer said 2025 has started well.
In revealing fiscal first-quarter financial results last week, Rev Group executives said the Tampa RV SuperShow provided to be a strong event to kick off the 2025 consumer RV show season.
“The consumer appreciation for our products was apparent,” company President and CEO Mark Skonieczny said, “with notable increases in retail sales across multiple brands.”
Wholesale shipments in the quarter also benefited from activity leading up to the Tampa show. Type A motorhomes and travel trailer sales increased, driven by strong interest in new models.
Rev Group said, “We also great dealers representing our products despite continued external challenges, the company remains focused on innovation partnerships to drive growth.”
Rev Group’s RV segment net sales were $155.0 million in the fiscal first quarter of 2025, a decrease of $14.4 million, or 8.5%, from $169.4 million in the fiscal first quarter of 2024. The decrease was primarily due to decreased wholesale shipments and increased dealer assistance.
First-quarter profits totaled $18.2 million, down 90% from the $182.7 million in first-quarter 2024 profits.
Despite the first quarter shipment decline, Rev Group said Type A, Type B and Lance Camper retail registrations outperformed their respective product categories.
“While the market remains challenged,” Rev Group said, “net sales for recreation did exceed our expectations for the quarter.”
