A pair of battery electric vehicles recently announced they would include suspension equipment from Reyco Granning.
The 79KB suspension will be standard offering on the Kenworth K270E and K370E battery electric vehicles. Reyco Granning said the enhanced ride comfort offered by the long parabolic springs and durability provided by rugged cast components make the 79KB an ideal suspension for last mile delivery and work truck applications.
The 79KB is available in a variety of capacities with options that include: stabilizer bar, taper leaf springs, helper springs, shock absorbers, and disc brake compatibility.
A new high capacity variant with 35,000-pound GAWR allows customers to configure a 4×2 with a GVW that would have required a 6×4 in the past, Reyco Granning stated.
