Forest River’s Rockwood and Flagstaff divisions selected Advanced Systems Group (ASG) for its off-the-grid Power Package.
The Power Package includes Mastervolt’s latest lithium battery and inverter/charger technology. The Power Package was introduced in fall 2021 and is offered on select floorplans of the Rockwood Geo Pro and Flagstaff E-Pro.
According to Forest River Operations Manager Karl Miller, Rockwood and Flagstaff plan more package offerings across other models in the future.
“The Power Package supports Forest River’s initiatives in offering turn-key power systems to create an experience where RVers can enjoy the luxury and comforts of being connected to power, wherever their adventures may take them,” ASG RV National OEM Sales Manager Menno Ligterink said.
The Power Package comes equipped with 570 watts of solar panels, in addition to an all-new 11,000 BTU soft start air conditioner. The package incorporates Mastervolt components to offer complete integration and maximum power in a small, lightweight package, Forest River said.
According to Ligterink, the Mastervolt lithium battery is the latest and safest chemistry on the market.
“With features like safety disconnect, even in an emergency, the user can rest assured knowing the system will automatically disconnect and reconnect without having to take action,” Ligterink said.
Forest River said the Rockwood and Flagstaff brands are excited to unveil the package and continue to advance the lithium-powered standard in the industry.
