The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) announced eight members who will serve on a new executive committee.
The committee is tasked with guiding ORR’s strategic direction and supporting the organization in carrying out its three-year strategic plan. The executive committee members represent various areas in the outdoor recreation industry.
ORR Executive Director Jessica Wahl Turner applauded the members of the committee and thanked them for their future guidance.
“Outdoor Recreation Roundtable is lucky to be guided by some of the best minds in industry with our board and new executive committee,” Turner said. “The committee has already been hard at work helping ORR develop our new strategic plan and ORR looks forward to ways we can drive the recreation economy with their support in the coming years.”
The board chair is Frank Hugelmeyer, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association and previously president of RVIA and CEO of the Outdoor Industry Association. Hugelmeyer is a co-founding board member of the ORR.
ORR named Glenn Hughes as vice chair. Hughes is president of the American Sportfishing Association and was previously the association’s vice president of industry relations.
Erik Pritchard will serve as executive committee treasurer. Pritchard is president of the Motorcycle Industry Council and leads the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association, Specialty Vehicle Institute of America and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.
Mary Ellen Sprenkel is serving as secretary. Sprenkel is president and CEO of The Corps Network.
At-large members of the executive committee are Lise Aangeenbrug, executive director of Outdoor Industry Association; Chris Edmonston, president of the BoatU.S. Foundation; Jay Landers, RVIA vice president for government affairs; and Phil Ingrassia, ORR past chair and RVDA president.
