RV Care, Canada’s largest RV dealer network, held its fifth National Dealers Meeting virtually Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
The group tallied 338 registered attendees over the two days, which was more than would have participated in RV Care’s in-person meeting, the group stated. The virtual platform allowed staff members from 80 network associate dealers to be invited.
“Usually at this time of the year, our group gathers in Toronto, Ontario, which was always a highlighted date on our calendars,” CEO Derek Paterson stated. “However, these are different times, so we followed the health guidelines and went virtual.”
The meeting included the official introduction to the new Alliance Partnership with Route 66 RV Network. The alliance now represents more than 220 locations, RV Care stated.
“The principles, priorities and values of both organizations paired with our shared commitment to consumers made this a logical alliance,” stated Rob Merrill, Route 66’s founding partner who participated in the RV Care virtual event.
New co-branded service programs were presented to RV Care members, with a market introduction planned for customers in early 2021.
“The event just ended, so our team will meet and have a post-mortem discussion, but at this point, I’m both relieved that there were no technical issues and very enthused with the early feedback,” Paterson stated. “Like all our National Meetings, our sole objective is for our dealers to take something away from the time they spend with us. This format allowed more dealership employees to participate which we believe will be very beneficial.”
