FMCA, an international organization for RV owners, will host its 106th International Convention and RV Expo at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, Georgia, March 15-18.
The FMCA event is open to all RV owners and those considering or curious about the RV lifestyle. RV owners can stay at the host facility in their RVs.
FMCA has dubbed the event “LUCKY 13” to mark the organization’s 13th event at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. About 2,500 RVs are expected to gather at the fairgrounds to take part.
“Coming to the Georgia National Fairgrounds for this International Convention and RV Expo is like coming home for FMCA,” FMCA Events Director Doug Uhlenbrock said. “FMCA hosted its first convention at the fairgrounds back in 1996. Even then, the facilities were among the best available for an FMCA event, and over the years with improvements and additions that have been made, they have become even better. On top of that, FMCA and its members are always greeted warmly by the staff at the fairgrounds and by the community – true Southern hospitality.”
The RV Expo hosts RV manufacturers and dealers that display the latest models. RV-related accessories, components, services will also be available.
Attendees attend event seminars. Topics range from tire maintenance, technology and safe driving to RV trips to Alaska and New Zealand/Australia.
The event will offer daytime and evening entertainment, opportunities for socializing including a dance, opening day parade and ice cream social.
Atlanta author Justine Cowan will discuss her book, “The Secret Life of Dorothy Soames.”
