RV Industry Leader Makes Sizable Donation

RV/MH Hall of Famer Newt Kindlund donated $150,000 to the Hall of Fame. The donation was in honor of his late wife, Joanne Kindlund, who died of cancer in 2019.

Newt Kindlund’s donation supports the organization’s mission to preserve industry history, elevate its members and educate guests.

In honor of the donation, the Hall of Fame renamed the library the Kindlund RV/MH Library.

In 1987, the Kindlunds founded Holiday RV Superstores, Inc., the first publicly owned national RV retail chain. They sold the chain in 1999. The couple established the Mike Molino RV Learning Center Scholarship for undergraduates working or planning to work in the RV industry.
