Longtime RV industry player Jamison Carrier has officially added bestselling author to his résumé.

Carrier’s debut release, “Syndromedy: The Totally Unofficial Field Guide to Weird Human Behavior,” hit No. 1 on Audible in its category less than 24 hours after the launch. The paperback version also surged into the Top 20 in three separate Amazon categories.

“Syndromedy” is a satirical field guide to modern behavior. The book diagnoses the quirks, compulsions and digital dysfunctions many people know but do not name.

Carrier said “Syndromedy” is a hilariously human read for “RV professionals, fans of behavioral comedy or anyone who has ever referred to a professional sports team as ‘we.’”

“‘Syndromedy’ is not your typical business book—it is a mirror,” Carrier said. “A mirror that reflects just how bizarre, hilarious and diagnosable we all are.”

Carrier started in the RV industry in 1990 when he first sold RVs for Tom Raper RV, later acquired by Camping World in 2015. Carrier then founded Relentless Dealer Services (RDS), a finance and insurance agency serving the RV and marine industries. RDS was acquired by Canadian private equity firm EasyCare in 2023. Carrier now leads EasyCare’s National RV and Marine team.
