RV Manufacturers on Government Recall List

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued the following recalls involving RV manufacturers:

CRUISER RV

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 24

Cruiser is recalling certain 2022 Cruiser Shadow Cruiser travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak. Dealers will inspect and replace the fittings, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in July 2022.

DRV SUITES

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 88

DRV is recalling certain 2022 DRV Mobile Suites and Full House fifth-wheel recreational vehicles. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Dealers will inspect and replace the fittings, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in July 2022.

HEARTLAND RECREATIONAL VEHICLES, LLC

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 26

Heartland is recalling certain 2022 Heartland Fuel travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak. Dealers will inspect and replace the fittings, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 1, 2022.

HIGHLAND RIDGE RV

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 2,362

Highland Ridge is recalling certain 2021-2022 Mesa Ridge, Mesa Ridge XLT, Mesa Ridge S-Lite, Open Range, Open Range Roamer, and Open Range Lite fifth wheel and travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 1, 2022.

JAYCO, INC.

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 838

Jayco is recalling certain 2021-2022 Northpoint, Pinnacle, and Seismic fifth wheel travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 1, 2022.

KZRV

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 14,524

KZ RV is recalling certain 2021-2022 KZ RV SportTrek, Sonic, Stratus, Connect, Sportsmen, Sportsmen SE, Sportsmen Classic, and Sportsmen Sportster fifth wheel and travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak. Dealers will replace the fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 30, 2022.

STARCRAFT RV

Cracked LP Gas Quick Disconnect Fitting

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 785

Starcraft is recalling certain 2022 Super Lite and Super Lite Maxx travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 1, 2022.

THOR MOTOR COACH

A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the fire risk.

Potential Number of Units Affected: 3,374

Thor Motor Coach is recalling certain 2022 Scope, Tellaro, Sanctuary, Delano, Sequence, Tranquility, Rize, Synergy, Quantum, Magnitude, Geneva, Compass, Chateau, Four Winds, and 2022-2023 Tiburon, and Gemini vehicles. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 4, 2022.
