The RV/MH Hall of Fame said its Manufactured Housing Museum Capital campaign will conclude Oct. 31.
To date, the campaign raised $1,894,750. The goal is at least $2 million.
The Hall of Fame said its 21,000-square-foot building is finished and the design phase for the interior is currently underway.
“The museum will begin with a stroll through time as guests will learn about the evolution from covered wagon to the state-of-the-art homes that are built today,” the Hall of Fame stated. “Along with a ‘Disney quality’ environment, this museum will feature actual full-size MH units ranging from 1929 to present-day and will even include a ‘home of the future.’”
Several immersive/interactive displays will be included in the museum, the Hall of Fame stated. The displays will teach visitors about the advantages of buying a factory-built home and how the industry will be an integral component to fulfilling future housing needs.
To be recognized as a museum founder, donations must be submitted by Oct. 31.
“(Fundraising) has been overwhelmingly successful and we are closing in on our goal,” the Hall of Fame stated.
