Peer-to-peer rental marketplace RVshare has joined the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) through the association’s Integrated Partnership Program.
The move will help expand RVshare’s lead generation by exposing the brand to more than 25 million American RVers who visit the association’s GoCampingAmerica.com. The agreement makes RVshare the exclusive peer-to-peer rental option for campers who visit the website.
“RVshare has created an amazing way to remove one of the biggest hurdles facing most campers – how to actually find and afford an RV, especially in a time where the demand for RVs is higher than the amount that can be produced,” ARVC President and CEO Paul Bambei said. “Not everyone has access to an RV, but now not only can anyone find one, but it drives new business to our member parks too. It is a win-win.”
In addition, RVshare will create educational blogs to educate campers visiting GoCampingAmerica.com about RV rental benefits.
“With the camping industry seeing such a boom of interest, especially from new campers who say private RV parks and campgrounds are their No. 1 destination, it has led to a market shortage of RVs available for purchase,” ARVC stated, “so it makes perfect sense for ARVC and RVshare to work together to bolster this exciting opportunity for anyone to rent an RV.”
“RVshare and Go Camping America share the goal of making the outdoors more accessible to millions of people,” RVshare VP of Marketing Martijn Scheijbeler said.
Scheijbeler said RVshare’s site doubled its seven-year booking total in 13 months last year.
