The National Park Foundation (NPF) is gaining support from Sun RV Resorts through a recent partnership.
Throughout the next year, Sun RV Resorts will provide $250,000 to promote social, mental and physical health benefits of national parks – a NPF mission statement.
“Sun RV Resorts shares in the National Park Foundation’s passion for the outdoors, education and conservation, making this a seamless partnership,” company senior VP Nick DiBella said. “With 160 locations across North America, we have seen the power of outdoor exploration first-hand, from bringing people together to re-instilling a sense of connection and inspiring an interest in discovering what more the world has to offer. We are looking forward to working closely with the NPF for years to come, encouraging more travelers to discover the beauty that surrounds us.”
Sun RV Resorts stated it donated $10 for every reservation made during National Park Week, April 17-25, as well as $2 for every like, comment or share of the Sun RV Resorts’ recent Facebook post.
Donations to NPF will support programs that “eliminate barriers, promote access and cultivate connections” to the outdoors’ social, mental and physical health benefits.
“Like the National Park Foundation, Sun RV Resorts greatly values the benefits that nature and the outdoors provide to everyone,” NPF President and CEO Will Shafroth said. “We are thankful to Sun RV Resorts for helping us connect everyone to the wonder of national parks, and we are excited to work together to inspire a lifelong love for these places.”
Sun RV Resorts provides nationwide locations for RVers and campers to stay, with select resorts in Oregon, Maryland and Virginia offering RVers’ outdoor activities such as crabbing.
