Blue Dog RV President Marc Hauser will retire from RV Retailer on July 31.

Hauser spent over 30 years in the RV industry and was the chief operating officer at Blue Dog before the dealership group sold to RV Retailer a year ago.

“Marc Hauser has had an incredible career and impact in the RV industry over three decades, with leadership roles at industry-leading companies like Jayco, Grand Design and Blue Dog RV,” RV Retailer President and CEO Jon Ferrando said. “Thank you Marc for building Blue Dog RV into one of the largest RV dealers in the U.S. and helping to orchestrate the historic acquisition of Blue Dog RV by RVR last year. As planned, you gave us a great one-year transition of Blue Dog RV into RVR.”

Hauser said Blue Dog’s growth and transition to RV Retailer was a career highlight.

“I am proud of the business we built at Blue Dog RV and the transition into RVR,” he said. “This industry has been incredible to me. As planned, it is time for me to spend more time with my wife, Kelle, and my family including my first grandson. I thank Jon Ferrando and the RVR team for the opportunity. I am excited for the future for all of the Blue Dog RV associates who will have great opportunities to grow as part of RVR.”

Additionally, RV Retailer disclosed expansion plans for the Blue Dog RV dealership in Pasco, Washington. The location will add 12,000 square feet to its showroom, double its inventory display area and add four service bays.

“The Tri-Cities market in Washington is a strong RV market,” Ferrando said. “We are excited to invest in expansion in that market. The foundation is set for tremendous growth going forward.”

Blue Dog RV’s leadership will report directly to West Region President Jim Humble after Hauser’s retirement.

“Marc was great to work with during this important transition of Blue Dog into RVR and the West Region,” Humble said. “I thank Marc for his leadership and look forward to continue working with the Blue Dog team as part of the RVR West Region. There are many talented leaders and associates at Blue Dog, and the future is bright.”
