RV Retailer, LLC announced the graduation of its inaugural General Manager Program of RV Retailer University.

RV Retailer University’s GM Program is a year-long curriculum. Current and future store general managers learn the major functions in a RV dealership. The class meets quarterly to interact with the leadership of RV Retailer and engage in face-to-face workshops.

“We are excited to announce the completion of our first General Manager Program, which is part of our industry-leading development program that we launched in 2020 as RV Retailer University,” President and CEO Jon Ferrando stated. “We are committed to the development of future leaders as we continually expand our footprint of 35 stores in nine states across the nation.

“The GM Program challenges our current and future leaders with extensive training in leadership and all disciplines in the RV business from sales to customer service,” he stated. “We plan to significantly expand our RV Retailer University programs as a commitment to investing in the development and training of our people.”

Outside of the classroom setting, individuals in the GM Program are given projects and key learnings to apply in their work environment. The program is built to provide future leaders to take on the challenge of the continually expanding RV Retailer’s network of stores, the company said.

“Our first GM class is an impressive collection of store leaders from all across our network of 35 stores,” stated Taylore Elliott, chief human resource officer who leads RV Retailer University. “This program prepares them to either take their store to the next level or take on the challenge of a general manager role in the future as RV Retailer continues to expand. Our entire executive team is involved with the program throughout the year.

“We were also excited to launch our second GM Program this week, and we are working on additional training and development programs to be launched by RV Retailer University in the future,” Elliott stated. “This investment reflects our core value of investing in our people.”
