Jon Ferrando, RV Retailer (RVR) president and CEO, is a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year 2021 Florida Awards.
Ernst & Young (EY) announced Ferrando’s recognition as part of the award program’s 35th year. The nomination honors “unstoppable” business leaders whose “ambition, ingenuity and courage” supported their businesses in the face of adversity.
Ferrando co-founded RVR in 2018. In less than three years, RVR has grown to include 55 RV sales and service centers in 16 states, with more than 2,000 associates.
“I am deeply humbled to be named a Florida finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award,” Ferrando said. “This is the ultimate honor to be recognized among an inspiring group of business leaders who put it all on the line, and excel at driving innovation, growth, talent development and job creation at the companies they lead. Thank you to the entire leadership team at RV Retailer, and to all of my incredible partners and the mentors that have inspired me. This would not have been possible without all of your support.”
Award winners are selected by an independent judge panel and will be announced during a virtual celebration Aug. 5.
EY regional award winners are eligible for consideration within the program’s national awards, slated to be announced in November this year at the Strategic Growth Forum. The national award winner will then move on to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in June 2022.
